I am SO tired

I could fall asleep right now so I will apologize in advance for the typos that will undoubtedly occur. To start off 2011 right the hubby and I decided (meaning I told him he was going and dragged him there against his will kicking and screaming) to run the New Year's 5k Fun Run on Camp Walker at 0900. Normally this wouldn't wear me out in the least, but South Korea is experiencing an unseasonably cold winter this year. Basically we ran over ice in freezing temperatures.

We did both get second place in our age groups.

So now I feel like going to bed and it's 2000 (8PM).

I am really excited to start doing photography appointments again. I've already started booking for the next 7-8 months that we will be in Korea. I've taken a BUNCH of tutorials and "done my homework" so the quality of my work will (hopefully) greatly improve this year. I'm shooting with a new camera - a Canon EOS Rebel XS with a 18-55mm lens that I should be upgrading before we leave for the states.

My WONDERFUL husband found the electronics district in downtown Daegu so I have found photography wonderland - everything from cameras and lenses to bags and tripods...and super cheep because it's factory direct and then you get to factor in the exchange rate. Makes me swoon.

So this photography hobbyist is slowing starting to improve in both skill and equipment. I am really looking forward to taking and posting some amazing photos this year. To get cliche "you ain't seen nothing yet!"
